It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Giacomo Mazzuca on Monday, February 26th, 2024, at the age of 86. He was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Giacomo is now reunited with his beloved late wife, Rosa Aloe, in eternal peace.

He will be deeply missed by his children, Maria (Claude), Ada, and Claudio (Francesca), and his adoring grandchildren, Eric (Katina), Tanya (Matthew), Laura (Eric), Olivia, and Giacomo, and great grandchildren Preston, William and Josh. Giacomo was the beloved brother of Vittorio (Gioia), Alberto (Antonietta), Gina (late Bill), his late sisters Emilia (Gerardo) and Louisa (late Salvatore). He will be fondly remembered by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, and a multitude of other relatives and friends.

Condolences will be received on Friday, March 1st, from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Saturday starting at 10 a.m. at Urgel Bourgie, located at 1275, Dollard Ave in Lasalle. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Madre Dei Cristiani church, situated at 1600, rue Thierry in Lasalle.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff of the Montreal Royal Victoria Hospital for their exceptional care and dedication. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the MUHC Foundation (https://muhcfoundation.com/).
