It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Fouad Chaar, who left us on February 6, 2024 peacefully and surrounded by his loved ones. Son of the late Youssef Chaar and the late Nahil Assaf, he is survived by his wife Sonia Chaar and daughters Joceline (Debs Debs), Nesrine (David Akl) and Micheline (Guillaume Lauzon).

Jeddo will be missed by his grandchildren: Zeina, Samantha, Andrew, Elissar, Ralph, Peter, Edouard and Philippe.
Fouad is survived by his brothers and sisters: Nabih (Nada Naffah) and their children Valérie and Michel, Assaf (Caroline Farhat) and their children Joseph, Mathew and Isabella, Jana (Daniel Mansour) and their sons Anthony and Michael, Jamil (Linda Scott) and their sons Joseph and Michael and his sister Mariam Chaar.
Mr. Fouad is survived by many cousins, relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences Friday, February 16, 2024 from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, 1255 Beaumont Avenue, Mont Royal.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. at Saint George Orthodox Church of Montreal, 575 Jean Talon Street East, Montreal.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to Saint George Orthodox Church of Montreal, would be appreciated.
