Mr. Gilles Petelle passed away on February 4, 2024, at the age of 79, husband of Mrs. Claudette Bellefeuille and retired Canadian National (CN).

He was the father of Anne (Benoit Henri) and Éric (Marie-Claude Roy), the grandfather of Alexandre, Hugo and Samuel (Annie-Claude), and the great-grandfather of Adélaïde and Léandre. He was the brother of Lucette (Jean-Marc) and Jean-Pierre (Monique) and the brother-in-law of Francine (Yves) Jean-Pierre (Nancy), Michel (Lyne) and Sylvie (Pierre). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

He was always faithful to the fine values he passed on. He leaves a huge void in our lives, but the memories will remain engraved in our hearts.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, February 23, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Urgel Bourgie / Athos Funeral Complex, 1559 rue de Montarville in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. the same day at Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville Church, 1668 Rue de Montarville, Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville.

Please do not send flowers. Those who wish may make a donation to the Fondation du CHUM or to the Maison Victor-Gadbois, where he volunteered.
