Information

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Moutzouris, known as Mike to all who knew and worked with him. Our beloved father passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024, surrounded by his family. Michael was predeceased by his beloved wife Georgia, as well as his parents Nickolaos and Helen and siblings Voula, George and Stavros. Michael is survived by brother Dimitri, his son Nick (Mary) grandchildren Costadina (David), Michael, Anastasia and his great-grandson Roman.

Born in the village of Vasaras, near Sparta, Greece, Michael was a gentle soul who was kind and had an incredible ability to be patient and calm with all who knew and loved him. He was an avid sports fan. Enjoying his favourite team the Toronto Maple Leafs play the game. His passion for his fellow Greek community was evident with his countless hours of community service to his beloved Laconian Brotherhood Association. He was always willing to help in whatever way he could whether to help with events or to fix and repair anything that needed to be done. His generosity with his time and skills was always appreciated. All who knew Michael knew how good he was with his hands. There was no challenge too big for him to try and solve. This generosity had no limits. Michael was available to all who needed him.
