It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of our beloved father and grandfather Fouad Merchak.

Fouad Merchak, on January 30, 2024, at the age of 80, Fouad Zaki Merchak was the husband of Colette Georges Bakleh.

He was the son of the late Zaki Merchak and the late Houda Chamchikh, and the son-in-law of the late Georges Bakleh and the late Lili Osta.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law Houda Merchak, Ibrahim Farah, Rim Merchak, Ibrahim Kandalaft and Mey Merchak, Sami Hajjar. His grandchildren Sandrine and Raphaël Ghali, Mariel Kandalaft and Maryana Farah. His sisters and brother, (the late Salwa Merchak) (the late Marwan Elias), Marie-Rose Merchak (the late Georges Kersheh), Samia Merchak, Georges Chaghoury and Riad Merchak, Racha Abdel Massih.

His sister-in-law and brothers-in-law, Athanas Bakleh, Nadia Chalhoub, Marie Bakleh, Alexis Shakar, Fouad Bakleh, Claude Farah and their families.

His nieces and nephews, the Elias, Minas, Khourdok, Kersheh, Chaghoury and Merchak families.

As well as his many cousins, other relatives and friends.

The family will welcome you at the Urgel Bourgie Athos Funeral Complex, located at 3955 De la Côte-de-Liesse, on Friday, February 2, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the Antiochian Orthodox Church of the Virgin Mary, located at 10841 Grande-Allé, and from there to the Cimetière-jardin, 3955 De la Côte-de-Liesse.

A donation in his memory to the Antioch Orthodox Church of the Virgin Mary will be apreciated.
