Peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer our dad passed away on Wednesday, January 24th. 2024. Predeceased by his wife Teresa of 61 years.

He was born in Suwalki, Poland. Emigrated to Montreal, Canada in 1965. He was a mechanic by trade and worked until his late 60’s. He worked hard and he could fix almost anything. He spent a lot of time at the cottage, always busy doing or fixing something. He was an independent and proud man.

Loving father of Vicky (late Antonio) and Tadeusz (Janina).
Cherished grand father of Michael (Lori), Lisa and Andrew (Tamiko), and proud great-grandfather of Natalia, Nicholas, Christopher, Jonathan and Sloane.

We would like to thank the physicians, nurses and the whole staff at the Jewish General Hospital, 4 main palliative care for their kindness and caring for the last 13 days of our dad’s life. In particular we thank Dr. Jean-Ahmed Zigby , the most compassionate doctor we could have asked for, who made himself available at all times to help us navigate dad’s illness.

He will be sadly missed by family and friends.

Tuesday, February 13th, 2024, 2:00PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00PM
