It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Oscar Monroy, in Montreal on January 23, 2024, at the age of 85.

He leaves behind his wife Martha Hernandez, his children Roxana Monroy, Lorena Monroy, Otto Monroy and Jennifer Monroy, his grandchildren Brayan Rodriguez, Luis Munoz Monroy, Randy Munoz Monroy, Steve Rodriguez, Eduardo Munoz Monroy, Jason Rodriguez, Angela Medellin and his great-grandchildren Fabian Munoz Medellin and Victoria Munoz Medellin as well as many relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, February 7, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Thursday, February 8, from 8:30 to 10 a.m., at the Urgel Bourgie / Athos Funeral Complex, 6700 Beaubien East, Montreal.

A religious ceremony will be held at the funeral home at 10 a.m. prior to burial at Repos St-François-d'Assise.

He will be fondly remembered.
