At the Centre d'hébergement de la Marée in Montreal, Louisette passed away surrounded by her loved ones on December 31, 2023. She will finally be reunited with her great love Daniel.

She is survived by her daughter Dominique (Denis Lapointe), her son Martin (Lyne Bourdeau), her granddaughters Liliane Lapointe (Francis Rufiange) and Cindy Burns, her sister Gisèle and many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on January 14, 2024 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Urgel Bourgie / Athos Funeral Complex, 6700 Beaubien Street East, Montreal. A religious ceremony will be held at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
