It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Maria Muro, in Montreal on December 27th, 2023, at the age of 88 years old.

She will be profoundly missed by her loving husband Giuseppe Valente, her children Rosa and Anna (Joey), her grandchildren Nadia, Joey (Laura), Claudio (Lina), Gianni, Adamo (Kristine), Juliana and Isabella. Her great-grandchildren Sienna, Marco, Emma, Chiara and Alessio. Her siblings, Theresa (the late Pio), the late Angelina (the late Angelo), the late Angelo (Urania), the late Domenico (Ghislaine) and Pietro (Maria) and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive condolences at Urgel Bourgie Funeral complex, 6700 Beaubien Est, Montréal, on Friday, December 29, 2023, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 10:00 p.m.

On Saturday, December 30, 2023, from 9:00 to 10:30, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Église Catholique Saint-Jean-Vianney, 6421 25e Ave, Montreal. Follow by the procession to her resting place at the cemetery Repos St-François d’Assise.
