It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mr. Georges Abdel-Ahad, who passed away peacefully on December 7, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones.

Predeceased by his late wife Leila Sani, he is survived by his children Jina (Mouin Dayoub), Suzanne, Diana (Camile Rizko), Carole (Elias Karkajian) and Jalal.

Jeddo Georges will be missed by his grandchildren Georges and Joud Dayoub, Léa and Georgio Karkajian, Sofia and Daniel Rezko.

He will be missed by his brothers and sisters: Maurice (Ghada Bahe), the late Jacques (Mirna Samman), Joseph (Rim Zrounba), Jeanette (the late Georges Hayli), Madeleine (the late Ibrahim Hazari), Angèle (Elian Bechara), Maggy (the late Elias Élia) and Amal (César Taby )and their families.

As well as many nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends in Canada and Syria.

The family will receive your condolences Sunday, December 10, 2023, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex located at 1255 Ave. Beaumont, Mont Royal.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 11, 2023, at 11 a.m. at the Cathedral Saint Ephrem, 3155 Blvd. Cartier Ouest, Laval, followed by interment at the Urgel Bourgie garden, 2500 ave. des Perron, Laval.
