Irene McLoughlin
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Irene McLoughlin-Durdon at the age of 98. Irene’s last moments were in her own bed in the arms of her loving daughter Nancy, with her son Tom and grandson Steve by her side.
Wife of the late Stephen Durdon she leaves to mourn her daughter Nancy, her sons Tom and Steve, her grandchildren Steve, Lana (Vince), Sharon-Ann (Marek), Rachel (Kirk), and Tommy (Ruth), and her great-grandchildren Julia, Jack, and Lyle.
There are no funeral services scheduled. Burial will take place in the Spring of 2024 at Urgel Bourgie Athos Memorial Gardens in Montreal. There will be a Memorial Celebration of Irene’s life planned for the near future.
The family would like to express their thanks for the wonderful loving care they received from their CLSC’s Palliative Care team of Angels; their interaction helped make this difficult transition easier to endure.
Instead of flowers, donations to the SPCA of your choice would be appreciated.
