______________________________________________________
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Roger, born in Moncton, New Brunswick, to the late Stella Cormier and Gérard Dominique Gallant. He was the beloved husband of the late Florence (LeBlanc) Gallant (2009). He passed away on November 1, 2023, at the age of 89.

He is survived by his two daughters: Lise Gallant (Martin Héroux) and Andrée Gallant (René Kokenberg); his Martel-Gallant grandchildren: Frédérique (Yann Morin Perrin), Guillaume, Laurence; his Kokenberg-Gallant grandchildren: Cassandra (Devin McArthur) and Laila; Justine and Magalie Héroux, daughters of Martin, Lise's husband. He is also survived by his 5 great-grandchildren, his great reason for living in recent years: Benjamin and Béatrice Perrin, William and Charles Martel and Thomas Codère.

He is also survived by his sister-in-law Jeanette LeBlanc, his nieces and nephew; Valérie, Denise and Mark, as well as many cousins, very good friends and former Air Canada colleagues (PR, pronounced in English for the latter). Roger will be remembered for his joie de vivre, his good humour, his human side and for being the best Papy and Grand-Papy in the world !

Bon voyage Papa, Papy and Grand-Papy Roger, you're finally with your beloved Florence. We miss you, we will miss you, but you will live forever in our hearts.

Dad didn't die of cancer, but he fought and survived two cancers (leukemia 2006 and colon 2011) thanks to the research that helps fight this horrible disease.
