Marie Ferraro (née Romano)
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Marie Romano, beloved wife of the late Mr. Settimo Ferraro, on April 8, 2023, in Montréal at the age of 85.
She is survived by her children Marie-Claire (Bjarne Randlov), Pasquale (Claudette Groleau) and Jacques (Judy Beato). She will also be greatly missed by her grandchildren Alexandre, Vincent, Olivia and Juliana.
The family will receive your condolences on Friday, April 14, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, and then, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Urgel Bourgie/Athos Funeral Complex, located at 6700 rue Beaubien east, Montréal, QC, H1M 3E3. A religious ceremony will follow on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 9:00 AM at Saint-Sylvain Church, located at 750 Boulevard Saint-Sylvain, Laval, QC.
The family is especially grateful to Dr. Benoît Coutu and the cardiology team at the CHUM, as well as to Dr. Paul Verschelden at the Cité-de-la-Santé in Laval for their outstanding care.
In lieu of flowers, your expressions of sympathy can be carried through a donation to the Saint-Sylvain Church where she participated actively in parish life for more than 15 years.
