In Montreal, on November 20, 2022, at the age of 84, Dr. Pierre Brais passed away.

He is survived by his children Marie-Josée and Michel (Caroline), their children/grandchildren Juliette, Léo and Hilda, his sister Louise, his brother Jacques, as well as many relatives and friends.

One of the founding members of the West Ophthalmological Clinic, physician and surgeon at Notre-Dame Hospital, teacher at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Montreal, he devoted himself to his patients throughout his career.

Beyond this job that fascinated him, our father was the man of a thousand talents! He knew how to do everything. He built, with the help of family and friends, his beloved chalet where he spent his free time skiing, canoeing, crafts, gastronomy, etc.

During the last years of his life, our father unfortunately suffered from Alzheimer's disease. In his memory, we invite you to support the fight against this disease by making a donation to the Alzheimer Society of Quebec.

The family would like to thank the staff of CHSLD St-Georges for their humanity, good care and little attentions. Our father was lucky to complete his journey with them and we are grateful for that.
