Stella Manzo, beloved wife of the late Cesare Spinoso (1974), cherished mother of Tina (Jack), Margherita (Joseph) and grandson Cesare passed peacefully to her place in heaven on June 7th 2022 in Montreal.

Along with her family in Montreal, she is survived by her nephews, Armando and Jose in Argentina as well as Domenico and Maurizio in Italy.

Stella will be greatly missed as she devoted her life exclusively to her family despite facing numerous obstacles as a young widow at the age of 43. She made many selfless sacrifices to care for her two daughters and will be always remembered for her devotion up until the end of her life. Thank you mom, you are now at peace with dad and with your loved ones.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thank you to the people who gave her strength and support in the last few years particularly her friend Lucie L’Escarbeau. Many thanks as well to her doctor Karim Mesbahi whose compassion and devotion cannot be measured in words.

Our mom wished to celebrate the end of her life and beginning of her afterlife with a mass which will be held at Notre Dame de la Défence on Monday June 20th at 11:00 am. Her desire was for a private visitation for her immediate family. The burial will take place at the Cimetière de la Côte des Neiges after the mass at 13:00 hours where she will be placed next to her beloved Cesare.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and stroke foundation or the Alzheimer’s society.



Stella Manzo, amata moglie del defunto Cesare Spinoso (1974), madre di Tina (Jack), Margherita (Giuseppe) e nipote Cesare è partita pacificamente al suo posto in cielo il 7 giugno 2022 a Montréal.

Insieme alla sua famiglia a Montréal, è sopravissuta dai suoi nipoti, Armando e Jose in Argentina e Domenico e Maurizio in Italia.

A Stella mancherà moltissimo, poiché ha dedicato la sua vita esclusivamente alla sua famiglia, nonostante i numerosi ostacoli incontrati da giovane vedova all'età di 43 anni. Ha fatto molti sacrifici altruisti per prendersi cura delle sue due figlie e sarà sempre ricordata per la sua devozione fino alla fine della sua vita. Grazie mamma, ora sei in pace con papà e con i tuoi cari.

La famiglia desidera rivolgere il suo sentito ringraziamento alle persone che hanno dato la sua forza e il suo sostegno negli ultimi anni, in particolare all’amica Lucie L’Escarbeau. Molte grazie anche al suo medico Karime Mesbahi, la cui compassione e devozione non si può misurare a parole.

La nostra mamma ha voluto celebrare la fine della sua vita e l'inizio del suo aldilà con una messa che si terrà a Notre Dame de la Défence lunedì 20 giugno alle 11:00. Il suo desiderio era una visita privata per la sua famiglia. La sepoltura avverrà al Cimetière de la Côte des Neiges dopo la messa alle 13:00, dove verrà posta accanto al suo amato Cesare.

Al posto dei fiori si possono fare donazioni alla Fondazione Cuore e ictus o alla società Alzheimer.
