It is with great sadness and regret that Mr. Kim Doanh Nguyen passed away peacefully in his sleep yesterday on March 25th 2022. This proud 86 years old veteran of the Vietnam war just celebrated 50 years of marriage to our mother who has been by his side from the refugees camps to their new life in Canada, Québec. This journey of a lifetime forged his values such as discipline, hard work and simple pleasures. Dad, our Father-Son moments were too rare, they were nevertheless unforgettable for me.

He leaves behind his wife Tuyet (born Tran), his sons Kim-Tuan and Kim-Tu, daughters-in-law Ly and Catherine, and grandsons Dan, Nhat Tan and Vinh Son.

We will receive family, friends and colleagues on Saturday April 2nd from 10 am to 2 pm at Urgel Bourgie on 3955 Chemin de la Côte-de-Liesse, St-Laurent. A Buddhist ceremony and the cremation will be held on the same day between 2 pm and 3:30 pm.
