Matthew Pizzi went to heaven on March 20th, 2022 at the age of 40. He is survived by his mother Cindy Makad, Sebring, Florida, his grandmother Sylvia Mefrige, Montreal, Quebec, his sister Aimee Medico and family, Ocala, Florida and his brother Justin and family, Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The impact of a smile can’t truly be understood but Matthew was always up for the challenge. He was happiest making people smile and being able to enjoy the contagious effect of laughter. Matthew had the kindest heart and a sensitive spirit. He had empathy for others and often put people before himself. Matthew was a selfless human being with a heart so big it had no ends. He went above and beyond for those he loved and cared for, who will now carry a hole in their heart he will forever occupy. The world not only lost a beautiful soul but also lost one of the most beautiful sounds ever to be heard, Matthew’s laughter.
