Jean-Claude Gaudreau
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jean-Claude Gaudreau in the early morning of January 25, 2022, in Montreal, after a brief and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 58 years, (Ruth Gardner), his beloved daughter (JoAnne), grandson (Tristan) and his son-in-law (John Frare). He also leaves to mourn his brothers and sisters, along with his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Jean-Claude will be remembered as a family man who loved life, fast sports cars, fishing with his grandson, relaxing boat rides and playing music with his buddies. In our grief we take comfort that his light will continue to shine so brightly, guide us through these hard times and give us strength.
A memorial service will be held in Montreal on Sunday, February 20th, 2022 at
Complexe Urgel Bourgie Cimetière Jardin
3955, chemin Côte-de-Liesse, Ville St-Laurent (Québec) H4N 2N6
Due to sanitary restrictions, the service will be held as follows:
• 10:00am to 12:00pm (FAMILY)
• 2:00pm to 4:00pm (FRIENDS)
We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the Royal Victoria Hospital (MUHC-Glen) Palliative Care team for their care and support.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated: www.cancer.ca
