Allan Battah

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Allan Nicholas Battah at the age of 67 on May 22nd, 2020. A dear husband to Barbara (Shoiry), a loving father to Tania, Pamela (Robert D’Amico), Matthew (Tiffany Aziz), and a doting Jido to Nicholas. Son of the late Alphonse and Leona Battah, survived by his in-laws Romeo and Wadia Shoiry, by his sister Linda (Robert Nessrallah), brother Robert (Gloria Andreoli), sisters-in-law Darlene (George Delatolla) and Betty (Paul Hajaly), many nieces and nephews, his aunts, uncles and cousins, who were all the
recipients of his love and generosity.

Allan, you have forever been a part of me and I do not remember a time without you. Tragically you were taken away for God had another plan. You made me laugh like no one could, and dance like the party never ended. Together, we raised three beautiful children, who adored you endlessly and in whom you instilled a love of life, a strong work ethic, the importance of laughter and a sense of humility. You showed them the true meaning of love. Your legacy lives on through us, and we promise to make you proud. Your little Nicholas will miss his Jido immensely. The memory of your smile as you spoke to him daily will forever be etched into our hearts.

The many family and friends, who we have held dearly for so many years, will give us the strength and support that we need going forward. One thing is for certain, I know you will continue to watch over us, as you always have. You have touched so many lives and were loved by all. You will be sadly missed but never forgotten.

May you never stop smiling, may you never stop dancing and may you rest in peace Forever.

In lieu of flowers please send donations in his memory to The Kiwanis Club of Lakeshore Montreal, 377 44e Av, Lachine, QC, H8T 2K5, where he was an active member for many years or the St. Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church 80 De Castelnau Est, Montreal, QC, H2R 1P2.

Due to current circumstances a private funeral will be held at this time. A memorial will be held at a later date to honour his life.
