Elias Awad
It is with great sadness that Vilma Mathura Awad announces the passing of her husband Elias Awad Awad in Montreal on April 15, 2020. Elias was 76 years old. He was the son of Awad Elias Awad and Salwa Awad (née Karam)
He leaves in grief his siblings, nieces, nephews, extended Mathura families, cousins and dear friends. His siblings are: Marie Kelzi (Jean), Samia Chaaya (Georges), Joseph (predeceased), Michel (Suzanne Berberi), Nabil (Annie Yacoubian) and Maha.
His nieces and nephews are: Georges and Rabih Kelzi (predeceased), Micheline Chaaya (Khalil Nasrallah, and their kids Karl and Christian), Nicolas Chaaya (Rebecca Spagnolo and their kids Georges and Olivia), Philip Chaaya, Christine Khalifeh (Elie and their daughter Élina), Paul Awad (Tecla Cesta), Robert Awad and Joseph Awad.
Considering the current circumstances, the family will be hosting a ceremony in his honour at a later date, the details of which will be shared in time.
