Gary Smith
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gary Smith.
Predeceased by his fiancé Alice, he leaves wonderful memories with his sons Gary and Bryan along with his 3 brothers, Kevin, Ralph and his late brother Claude and his sister Faye.
He is survived by his grandchildren: Sydney, Alexa, Jessica, Mick, Axel, Tiffany, Christopher, Katheryn and Brandon.
Gary was well known as a fierce competitor. Gary played football as a young man, enjoyed softball and established a world record in the sport of dog weight pulling with his dog Queenie.
Gary was an entrepreneur who started his own professional packing company in the late 1980’s.
Gary was a kind and loving soul, always having time to share a story or a joke.
He was intensely passionate about his Detroit Red Wings and Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
He will be dearly missed.
