With profound sadness we announce the passing of Jean Baird (nee Allan), on December 20, 2019. She was a loving and devoted mother, family member and friend to all whose lives she touched. Jean left us while sleeping peacefully at the Residence Saint Raphael, L’lle Bazard. She was in her 91st year. She was the beloved mother of Wayne (Joanne), proud Nana to Alexandra, and Evan. Jean leaves to mourn nephews and nieces Richard (Kathryn), Holly (Doug), David (Susan), Colin (Jane), Jeremy, James, Michael (Diane), Tyler, and Alycia and sister-in-law to Wayne, Diane. Predeceased by her husband (Stan), sisters Gladys (Buddy), Dorothy (Walter) and brother George, we know they are all together again at last. Jean lived a full life as a wonderful mother, homemaker and in her working life she held two prestigious positions as an Executive Assistant for a family owned chemical company and later a Japanese Trading Company. She loved her family and instilled strong values that have served them all well. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. The family would like to thank the staff at the Residence Saint Raphael for their support and kindness. In lieu of flowers donations to the Shriners Hospital for Children are welcome.
