Giovanni Di Lillo
Surrounded by his loving family, Giovanni Gaetano DI LILLO passed away on August 28th 2019 at the age of 94.
Survived by his devoted wife Maria Farinacci, he will be forever missed by his children Raffaele (Mary), Josie (Anthony) and Antonio; his grandchildren John-Michael (Dulce), Christopher and Joseph (Jessica). He has joined his predeceased brother Antonio (Maria Grazia). He also leaves behind his youngest brother Giuseppe (Maria), his brother-in-law Michael Farinacci (late Livia) and many nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family and friends.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at the Sacré-Coeur Hospital and the palliative care unit Notre-Dame de la Merci (the Florence – et - Charles-Albert-Poissant pavilion). A special thanks for the devotion and compassion of caregivers Irma Guirand Destine and Heraldine Fenelon.
The family will receive condolences at Urgel Bourgie, 1255 Beaumont, T.M.R. on Monday, September 2nd 2019 from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, September 3rd from 9 to 10:30 a.m.
The funeral service will be held at Église Saint-Joseph de Bordeaux, 1650 rue Viel, Montréal, on September 3rd at 11a.m. Burial will take place at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges cemetery.
