Louise Gattuso (née Nolasco)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Louise Nolasco Gattuso on June 22, 2019 at the venerable age of 99 and the approach of her 100th birthday (October 19, 2019). Despite her courage and perseverance, she died peacefully surrounded by her family. She is the daughter of the late Francesco Nolasco and the late Michelina Desimone. She was the wife of the late Matteo Gattuso, one of the pioneers of the Food Industry in Quebec, and one of the builders of the Gattuso Corporation, and he was, asshe said, her only love.
Louise will raise a family of 4 children and she will be sadly missed by her sons Jean (Sophie Labrecque) and Mathieu (Maryse Brunet Lalonde), as well as Lyse Gagnon (late Paul Gattuso), and Michel Larocque (late Liza Gattuso). As well as her Gattuso grandchildren: Paul, Caroline, Dominique, Sophie, Mariza and Andréa, the Larocque grandchildren: Martin, Philippe and Marie-Louise, and all the spouses. As well as her great-grandchildren, in particular: Alice, Laurent, Charlotte, Rose, Vincent ... She also leaves to mourn many nephews and nieces, especially Louise Nolasco (Jean Berthiaume).
Louise was a devoted and determined woman. Remarkable was the unwavering support
she gave to her husband and children. Louise excelled in sports, and was socially involved.
A warm thank you to the entire Selection Le Graham team (especially Genalyne, Rose,
Marie-Lise, and all others), as well as to the geriatric and palliative care team on the 3rd floor of the Notre-Dame Hospital.
All our gratitude goes to Sandrine Bernard and the Foundation team of the Palliative
Home-Care Society Foundation, as well as our affection to our close collaborators: Jozel,
Denise, Jasmine and Mona for their dedication and sincere friendship. A special thank you to Dr. Claudette Moriconi.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your marks of sympathy at the death of our mother. Your support and friendship have brought us great comfort in this time of mourning.
Warmly,
Jean, Mathieu and all the members of the Gattuso Family.
