Marilou Artinoff
Marilou Artinoff, passed peacefully in her sleep in the early hours of October 1st, 2018 with her only daughter and son-in-law by her side. Widow of the late Gilles Paquette, cherished mother of Natalie Artinoff Paquette and mother-in-law to Jason Lapointe, beloved little sister of Patrick Artinoff, dear sister-in-law to Nancy Artinoff, loving aunt to Greg, Victoria and Roger, precious niece to Simone Naccache, dearly remembered by many cousins and extended family and dearest friend to many. As a beloved member of the Baha'i community, she served as a member of the Local Spiritual Assemblies of Saint-Hubert and Longueuil, and on the Montreal Shrine committee.
Marilou's life will be honoured on Sunday, October 7th at 9am at the Urgel Bourgie Gardens in Saint-Hubert at 8145 Chemin de Chambly. The service and burial will be followed by a reception for friends and family. Friends are invited to bring something to share for the “Pot Luck” meal and dessert. Flowers, which she loved, can be delivered in her name at that address between 8 and 8:45am on Sunday morning.
There will also be a donation box present for La Maison Victor-Gadbois, the wonderful palliative care home where she spent the last three months of her life and where she received such tender loving care. We would like to convey our heartfelt thanks to the wonderful doctors, nurses, volunteers and the rest of the staff who tended to her every need and made her final days on this earth comfortable and serene.
She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all those who loved her and whose lives she touched.
