Nicole Marchessault
It is with heavy hearts that we inform you that after a lengthy illness Nicole Marchessault passed away at Lakeshore General Hospital in Pointe-Claire, QC on October 13th 2015, at the age of 60.
Cherished mother of Oriana Santilli, Alessia Santilli and Luca Santilli. Predeceased by her father Dr. Robert H Marchessault. Nicole will be missed by her mother Mary Marchessault, Pino Santilli and her siblings Robert (Teresa), Claude (Denise), Janine (Phil), Kim (Suzanne) and Pierre, and all of her nieces and nephews.
A graduate of Concordia University with a BSc in Computer Science, for much of her life Nicole worked tirelessly to support adults challenged by cognitive impairments and autism. In her role as Coordonnatrice Point de services de l’Ouest-de-l’île at Action main-d’œuvre she was a key player and leader on a team that brought hope to the dispirited. Through selfless service she profoundly benefited many people in both her personal and professional life.
Nicole was an accomplished cook and hosted many memorable family functions over the years. Extemely generous, she spoke three languages, read voraciously and was blessed with a razor-sharp wit. She made us laugh with outrageous humor and showed a fierce love for her family. She will be deeply missed.
