It is with a great sadness that we announce ,the passing of Mary Elias Awad Ragheb March 21, 2014 , after a hard fight against Alzheimer's. Surrounded by her family, she passed away peacefully.

Wife of the late Adib Awad Kolta she leaves to mourn, her 7 children: Emile ( Nadia ) , Georges ( Antoinette ) , Nessim (late Hedy ) , Sabet ( Ann ) , Nadia ( Fayek ) , Hoda ( Hani ) and Selim ( Anna ), her brother Elias Younan ( Samira ), her grandchildren : Sabrine Cherif , Nancy, Sandra , Sylvain, Nathalie , Patricia, Alexandra , Jessica, Sarah , Amanda , George, Mirande , Nadine , Roxanne , Joseph, Carole , Robert Steven and Michael , and 13 great grandchildren .

Born in Alexandria in 1921 , she accompanied her husband to Canada in 1973 , she spent 40 years of her life as a volunteer at the Coptic Orthodox Church in Montreal. Coptic Egyptian community in Montreal recognizes her kindness and devotion to the Church .

Her children and grandchildren thank all the staff at the Centre d’hébergement les Cèdres ,for their professional care .A special thank to Mary Khoury for her dedication and comforting support.
