On October 21, 2012, Marco joined his father Michele and his brother Doriano in heaven.

He is remembered by his mother Miretta, his companion Sandra, her daughter Megan, his sons Doriano and Luca, his maternal grandparents Ruggero and Angelina, his paternal grandmother Antonietta, his niece Daniella, aunts, uncles, cousins, his family in Ontario, Italy and Australia as well as many friends.
