Peacefully at home on May 25, 2012 at the age of 79. Singer (as Karim Shukry) and Film Producer.

Jean Zaloum leaves to mourn his wife, Mirte Rampezzotti, his sons, Alain and Lucien (Michele Waterhouse), his grandchildren, Zachary, Nicholas, and Sarah, his siblings, Gaston (late Mary Riley), Liliane (Ugo Rampezzotti), and Peter (Leslie Berry), as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He loved his family, Egypt, and the movies.

Funeral services on Wednesday, May 30 at 1 p.m. at Cathédrale St-Sauveur, 10025 de l’Acadie Blvd.

Family will be receiving condolences after funeral services.

J'ai connu Jean dans les années 70, par affaires J'ai toujours apprécié sa jovialité , sa détermination et son courage . Malheureusement , nos chemins sont sont séparé et je n'ai eu que quelques contacts téléphoniques ... Je regerrete de ne pas l'avoir revu une dernièere fois . Condoléances a la famille .
