We regret to announce the death of Mrs. Gerardina Tolomeo, wife of the late Domenico Tamburrino, on January 31, 2025, at the age of 82, in Montreal.

She is survived by her daughters Maria (Elio), Donatella (Frank), Caterina (Domenico) her grandsons Francesco, Lorenzo (Simone), Donato, Alfonso and Angelo, her great-grandson Kieran, her sisters and brother in Italy; Maria-Antonia, Nicoletta, Francesco, Felicella  and  her sister-in-law in Montreal  Lucia Tamburrino as well as her many nieces and nephews here in Montreal and in Italy, not forgetting her many friends who will treasure the precious moments spent at her side.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, February 6 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m at Complexe Urgel Bourgie, 6700 Beaubien Est, Montréal, H1M 3E3. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 7 at 10 a.m. at Marie-Auxilliatrice Church, 8555 Maurice Duplessis Boulevard, Montreal, QC H1E 4C3, followed by burial in crypt at Le Repos St-François d'Assise Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the caring staff of the Centre d'hébergement Marie-Clarac palliative care unit for their compassionate care.
