Paul D. Normandeau

Born in Québec City in 1912, Paul D. Normandeau, engineer, passed away May 15th 2009 in Montréal. He leaves behind his wife, Denyse Saint-Pierre Normandeau, as well as three brothers, five sisters and many nephews and nieces.

After completing his studies at École Polytechnique de Montréal, he occupied important management positions, first at Eagle Pencil of Drummondville and A. Bélanger of Montmagny. Later, he was appointed as Vice-President of the Société générale de Financement, President of Renault Canada, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Regional Expansion in Ottawa and later, President of the St-Lawrence Seaway.

Instead of flowers, donations to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind, CNIB, would be appreciated.
