World War II veteran, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2009 at the Montreal General Hospital at the age of 84. Beloved husband of the late Maureen Gearey. Loving father of Lillian (Tommy), the late Marlene (Abby), Charlie (Karen), Dale, Eddy, the late Ricky, Sandra (Pat) and Maureen (Larry). Dear brother of the late Gerald, the late Ernie, Margaret, Mary and Evelyn, brother-in-law of the late Douglas and Kenneth Gearey, loving grandfather of Lori-Ann (Mike), Shauna, the late Tanya, the late Corey, Lane, Jenna, Kyndra, Megan, Karleigh and Kaytlin. Great-grandfather of Brenna and Avery.

The family would like to extend a very heartfelt thank you to Peter Ambroziak who helped us faithfully throughout the past year of our father's life.

The funeral service will be held at Saint-Gabriel's Church, 2157 Centre street, Wednesday April 15th at noon.
